Mid-semester

This is once of the busiest times for a student here at Dean, midterms are coming up which means lots more studying is added onto the work of a student. As a musical theater major we have the midterms for our core classes as well as the midterms for our dance classes. At least the play is over to leave us some extra time (by the way it went great and we all had so much fun). For any perspective musical theater major who at the sound of a dance midterm cringes, it really isn't that bad. I'm not a dancer per say, but our midterms and finals normally aren't something to fear. For tap we create out own dance routine as a solo or with a friend, and in jazz everyone learns the same combo which is performed in groups of about 5. We are graded on our ability vs. how hard we try, so no fear with a little practice it all pays off and spring break follows to relive any stress that may have built up.
